In 2026, Avican Support proudly celebrates 20 years of supporting people and families across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

What began as a simple vision from our Founder, Dr Charles James – to provide care with kindness, dignity, and respect – has grown into something truly special. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of being part of thousands of lives, supporting people to live well, feel valued, and remain connected to the things that matter most.

At the heart of our journey is our incredible team. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine care have shaped who we are today – and continue to make a difference every single day.

As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: to be there for the people we support and their families, providing care you can trust, delivered with warmth, understanding, and heart.

Behind that well have a modern training academy, a centre with a difference this where not only our own staff will come for ongoing training and development, but will have opportunities for unpaid carers in the local community to come for help and support and gain training from our in house and visiting experts on all matters in delivering care.

All our head office functions will also be housed in our new operational headquarters dealing with HR, Payroll, Compliance & Quality, Scheduling, Management and Admin.
